Office Concepts, Inc. Terms and Conditions

We have been in the Office Furniture Sales, Design, Planning and Relocation Business since 1979. We are located in Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234.

How do I contact you and order with you?
Visit us online at www. ocinj.com
By Phone: (609) 569-9191 Note: In store hours are by appointment.
By Fax: (609) 569-9114

Be sure to include your Name, Address, Phone, and e-mail, in order that we may reach you if necessary.

Will my entire order be shipped together?
Occasionally, an order can ship from two or more warehouses for fulfillment. We ship your order from the closest warehouse that has your part in stock. If it is determined that one or more of your products is not available in the first warehouse, the remainder of your order will be filled in the second closest warehouse. On split orders, we will incur all costs for the additional freight and there will be no additional charge to you. Please understand that your order may arrive on two different days.

Do you charge sales tax?
New Jersey applies a 7% sales tax to purchases.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, checks and money orders. All credit cards must be issued by a bank in the United States. We do not accept international credit cards.

How do I pay by check or money order?
All checks and money orders should be payable to Office Concepts, Inc. You may also mail your payment to Office Concepts, Inc. 6422 Blackhorse Pike Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234. Please do not mail your payment until you receive an invoice number.

Can I cancel my order?
We do not accept order cancellations.

I never received my package, but my tracking number shows it was delivered. What do I do?
Please be aware that we are not responsible for losses that occur as a result of packages being left in your absence. It is your responsibility to have someone present at time of delivery. You can contact us via the contact form to obtain a tracking number to find out exactly when delivery is scheduled to your home or place of business. If your package is left by the shipper unsigned, or signed fraudulently and ends up lost you will not be reimbursed for freight or parts. We can, however, file a lost or damage claim with the particular shipper, but their decision is solely based on their information and findings.

First, check around your property for any packages that may have been placed out of sight. Second, check with your neighbors to see if your package was accidentally delivered to their residences. If you still cannot locate the package, you will have to call the shipping company, and they should send the driver back out to your residence within 24 hours. If the driver cannot locate the package, a claim will be initiated with the shipping company. Claims take approximately 30 days to settle. We are not responsible for replacing any lost orders while your claim is processing. All replacement parts will have to be reordered until your claim is settled.

What type of warranty does my Furniture have?
All products are warranted by the manufacturer, check your shipping materials either outside of the box or inside attached to the product for terms and conditions.

Return Policy?
Every item we sell is backed by Office Concepts unconditional guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item to us within 30 days of purchase for an exchange or refund. If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, call (609) 569-9191 at the time of delivery, during our normal business hours Monday – Friday 9am -5pm EST. Please see below for full details, instructions, rules and restrictions.
Refunds will be made in the original form of payment. Generally on all items, the return policy is that you are responsible for round trip freight if the furniture has already been shipped. Please contact us and we will assess your situation.

All furniture returns must be pre-approved, and have a Return Authorization # assigned to your order. The Return Authorization # must be clearly labeled on the outside of the box. Authorization may be obtained by phone at (609) 569-9191 or e-mail returns@ocinj.com. A 30% re-stocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Your refund will be processed, less the restocking fee, once the manufacturer receives and inspects the returned item.

On “Free Shipping” items, the shipping charges are included in the price, but you will still be charged for round trip shipping costs incurred by Office Concepts if you return them.
When ordering your furniture please let us know if we can be of assistance in selecting the right furniture for your situation. Always measure the space you are placing the furniture. Sorry, we cannot accept returns for assembled merchandise. Any returns must be in their original packaging. Items will not be authorized for return after 30 days from the delivery date.
Return Instructions:
To return an item, contact us by e-mail returns@ocinj.com or by phone at (609)-569-9191 Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm EST.

Have the following information ready when calling or e-mailing:
1. Your order number.
2. The item number (SKU) of the product(s) you wish to return.
3. The reason for the return.
For example: Is the item defective or damaged? Was the wrong item shipped?
4. The condition of the item: opened or unopened.*
*The following may not be returned for a refund: Furniture once installed or assembled, items that have been used, items not in their original packaging, and special order or made-to-order products.
We will reply by e-mail with a Return Authorization Number and shipping instructions for your return. We do not accept returns at our customer service office. Please ship your return to the warehouse address included in our e-mail reply. We suggest shipping with a carrier that provides proof of delivery as items lost or damaged in transit cannot be credited. UPS and FedEx automatically provide this.

Affix a label to the outer box or packaging with the Return Authorization Number and return shipping address.

What if my merchandise arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged or opened, immediately tell the driver that you are refusing the package due to damage. Do NOT accept the package. If a damaged or opened package has been left in your absence, you will have to contact the shipping company. You have 24 hours to notify us that you received a damaged product. We will not accept responsibility for any damaged claims after 24 hours. No exceptions.

How should I ship back my return?
We highly recommend that you return your item with a shipping carrier that can provide you with both insurance and a tracking number in case of loss or damage. All returns should be able to be tracked from the time you ship your return until it is signed for on the dock.

Please make sure to properly pack your return and clearly write your RA number on the outside of the shipping box. All returns are freight prepaid by the customer. We do not offer return shipping reimbursement regardless of the party at fault.

Will I have to pay a restocking fee?
If your product is returned for any reason other than a definite error on our part, a 30% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Restocking fees are not refundable for any reason.

How long do refunds take?
Most returns are credited within 30 days of receipt of return. All refunds are applied in the same manner you paid (e.g., if you paid with a check, you will receive a check refund). You will receive an e-mail the day your refund is processed. Credit card refunds take approximately 3-5 business days to show up on your statement.

Can I order something that’s out of stock?
We don’t take orders for items that we know are back-ordered, because we’ve found people are much happier when they order something that’s available right away.

How can I pay?
Credit and Debit Cards: We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.
Personal Checks, Cashier’s Checks, and Money Orders.  If paying by check, your order will not ship until the check clears.
Gift Certificates: You can pay for an order with a Office Concepts gift certificate.

What happens after I place my order?
Soon after you order, we’ll e-mail you an Order Confirmation. Please keep this e-mail so you have your order number and info handy. If you don’t see your Order Confirmation in your inbox, check your spam folder to make sure it didn’t get caught by an anti-spam filter.  If it’s not there, e-mail us and we’ll send you a new one. As soon as you place your order, we’ll start getting it ready to ship. Some items may take longer. When your item is ready, we’ll ship it out and e-mail you a Shipment Confirmation. This e-mail will include a tracking number so you can follow the progress of your package as it makes its way to you. If you ordered several products, they may ship from different warehouses – in these cases you’ll get a separate Shipment Confirmation for each package.

How do I print out a receipt?
With an Office Concepts account, it’s easy:
1. Click the Print Receipt link on the Welcome page of My Account.
2. If you have more than one order with us, you’ll see a list of your orders.
3. Next to each order is a small printer icon. Click it to print a copy of your order.
If you don’t have an account, it’s easy to set one up – just go to Create Account and fill in the info with the same e-mail address you used in your order. Once your account is set up, you’ll be able to print out your receipt.
